Algomo on Purple
Purple is a US mattress company, known for its grid-shaped comfort layer. This demo runs on its US website, so prices are in dollars.
We added Algomo to Purple's public website ourselves, without any help or setup from Purple, and recorded a visitor using it. The prices, stock and pages in the video are Purple's own, as the site showed them that day.
This is a demo on Purple's public website. Purple is not an Algomo customer. Purple did not make or endorse this demo.
Don't believe it? Open the live demo and ask: “Compare Purple Plus and RestorePlus in Queen.”
Try Algomo on Purple yourselfWhat the recording shows
4 things Algomo does on Purple's site, each with the moment it happens.
Live answers
The visitor asks for a queen under $2,500 for a side sleeper. Purple's queen range opens beside the chat, and Algomo reads every price from Purple's live site.
Widgets
Algomo's comparison card lines up the three, so they decide in the chat.
4 of the 47 competitor bots we tested in September 2026 showed a card in the chat.
Proactive message
They open the PurplePlus mattress page on Purple's own site. Algomo speaks first, without being asked: the Purple Adjustable Base in queen is $699, with one button to see it.
Co-navigation
They ask about the trial, and Algomo opens Purple's returns page beside the chat, with the answer on it.
None of the 47 competitor bots we tested in September 2026 opened a page for the visitor.
What the assistant can do on Purple's site
The assistant on Purple's site is built for one job: help a shopper compare mattresses by feel, size and how they sleep, read the real product details, and get them to the right mattress in the right size.
Find a mattress by size, budget and how you sleep
Say the size, the budget and whether you sleep on your side, back or stomach. It reads Purple's own size listing and each mattress's live product data, and keeps the ones at or under budget.
See it in the demoCompare two or three side by side
A table with a photo, the exact-size price, the feel and who each one suits, or a swipeable carousel. Each column has a button that opens that mattress in that size.
See it in the demoCarry the chosen size onto the product page
It opens the page beside the chat and applies the size there, so the visitor lands on the right option rather than the default.
See it in the demoOffer the matching base on a product page
On a mattress page it speaks first with the base Purple pairs with that mattress, in the visitor's size, at Purple's own price, with one button to see it. The video shows the unprompted offer; the demo button asks for it on the product page.
See it in the demoAnswer trial, returns and warranty questions from the live pages
It reads Purple's returns and warranty pages as the question is asked, including the slat spacing and centre-support rules for bed frames.
See it in the demoSuggested responses
The greeting offers one-tap replies such as “Queen under $2,500” and “Trial and returns”, and a follow-up arrives when a product card does.
See it in the demoIt does not guess stock, promise pain relief or any medical outcome, or reach a customer account. It does not add to cart or check out. The visitor does not add the base. The video shows the offer only.
Questions before a call
Is Purple an Algomo customer?
No. These brands are not Algomo customers, and they did not make or endorse these demos. We added Algomo to their public websites ourselves, without any help or setup from them. Prices, stock and reviews come from the website at that moment, so they change from day to day. Nothing is bought or booked in the videos. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.
How long until it is live on our site?
One snippet and a URL. The agent reads the pages the site already serves and builds its tools from the endpoints those pages call. Systems that only staff can reach are connected with help, on Business and Enterprise.
Where do the answers come from, and what happens when the site changes?
From the live page and the site's own APIs, called in the visitor's session. A watchdog watches every connection and rebuilds a mapping when a redesign breaks it, so the next answer reads the changed page.
What does a conversation cost, and what does a failed one cost?
A conversation that actually helped someone costs five credits. One that went nowhere costs nothing. The plan sets the monthly credits, there is no overage, and no charge is ever added to the amount picked.
Who can change the agent once it is live?
AI agents, over MCP, from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and anyone in the dashboard. Every change is staged in a session with a diff and saved in one step, so a person sees what changed before it is live.
What happens when a visitor needs a person?
Handover is built in. The person on the team gets the whole conversation, and escalation routing is set up with help on the Business plan.
What data leaves the visitor's browser?
Connectors run inside the visitor's own session, so their prices, region and basket stay where they are. Enterprise plans add a DPA, retention controls, SSO and a security review.
Can the same test run against the chat we have today?
Yes. The same questions to the current chat and to Algomo, on the site, with the site's own pages as the referee, the way this recording was made.
